"Improving Care for Diabetic Patients"

Hypoglycemia was identified as an area of opportunity for Carilion Medical Center. This enterprise-wide project aims to reduce the percentage of adult patients within Carilion Clinic inpatient environments who experience an adverse drug reaction related to insulin administration. This presentation addresses the project management tools and processes used to implement best practices for insulin management in the midst of COVID-19 and transitioning project managers.

John talks about why agile is a toolbox, not a strict ideology or collection of practices. Along the way, he'll also discuss where agile ideas have shown up in the past, when to foster an agile mindset, and (inevitably) movies.
