Angelitte (Angie) Cochran is a Director of Special Programs at Jacobs, an amazing
company who provides a full spectrum of professional services including consulting,
technical, scientific and project delivery for the government and private sector. She is
an experienced servant leader who has benefited from a very diverse career in several
different industries leading multiple projects of various sizes and scope.
Angie has delivered successful projects and program solutions for mission support to
numerous government agencies across the DMV. She has managed to progressively
build her skills over the course of her 20+ year career in corporate and government
accounting, operations support, proposal support, and program management. Having
earned her Bachelor’s in Accounting and a Master’s in Business Administration, she
previously served as a controller, project manager, program manager, and transition
manager.
Born and raised in Roanoke, VA, she left in 1998 to live in Northern VA and moved back
to the area in 2019. In her spare time, Angie enjoys spending time with her husband
and three adult daughters, as well as traveling, event planning, shopping, and binge-
watching Netflix movies.
Angie has been an active member of PMI since 2016; currently serves as a PMI SWVA
chapter member since 2018. She looks forward to the opportunity to work, represent,
and engage with the project management community by serving on the SWVA Board of
Directors.
