Successful Project Managers build effective teams, manage change, provide leadership and deliver results. Those who bring Emotional Intelligence skills to this complex environment manage the emotions and people as well as project parameters.

The ability to understand emotions in others, the effect your emotions have on others, and manage both accordingly is a competitive advantage.

Even if you don't know what Emotional Intelligence is, you know it when you see it. Think of the very best person you've ever been around. Now think of the most difficult person you've ever been around. You can describe the difference between these two people - and that is an example of the degree of Emotional Intelligence they each have.  

By the end of the session, you'll have a deeper understanding of: 

• The 6 key traits of emotional intelligence and why it's important.
• How these traits contribute to your success both personally and professionally.
• Why emotionally intelligent people outperform others.
